Adorable details, excellent planning and plenty of time were the recipe that made this wedding so beautiful and fun for me!
Kaitlin chose to show her and Ben's personalities through fun details spread out throughout the day. Custom monogrammed dress hangers, an adorable velvet Mrs box, lace garter set with "tag you're it" embroidered on it were just a few details to greet me upon my arrival. The day continued with the help of the incredible American Village staff and strategic planning expertise of the girls of M. Elizabeth. I was given a ton of time to explore the American Village grounds with Kaitlin and Ben in order to get all of the amazing portraits they were wanting, followed by plenty of fun moments with the bridal party groups (I'm talking 2 hours for portraits!). More beautiful details popped up for the ceremony as a stunning string quartet played and an amazing Dorothy McDaniel floral centerpiece set the backdrop for the couple to exchange vows. After the ceremony I was given MORE TIME with the couple to take sunset photos! Oh I couldn't contain the joy! After that it was on to the reception where, I'll let you guess, there were MORE amazing details! Custom cornhole, adorable pillows with southern sayings, pretty signage and the most adorable pie table set the stage for fun and dancing.
Now I am not typing all of this out to say that every wedding needs a ton of details, this wedding really had a normal amount of details. What was so wonderful was how well everything was spread out throughout the day. Ample time, the right amount of planning and coordinating, and carefully chosen details spread throughout the wedding day created such a beautifully well rounded and memorable experience!
